Reasons for Taking TOEFL®ITP
The test is considered appropriate for purposes such as:
Assigning individuals to English courses at the appropriate level of difficulty
Determining proficiency in English at the beginning and end of courses of study in English
Determining if students themselves have a sufficient command of English for a study-abroad program
Providing students an opportunity to become acquainted with the multiple-choice test formats
Screening for scholarship programs
The questions are multiple-choice format with four possible answers per question. No writing section is included.
TOEFL®ITP is not an official or international TOEFL (called TOEFL). Students who need TOEFL scores for admission to universities and colleges must take TOEFL test at a TOEFL iBT or PBT administration. TOEFL®ITP cannot be used to get admission to US schools where English is the language of instruction. It gives qualified universities, English Language Institutes and other agencies the opportunities to use the older form of TOEFL paper-based to their own students.
Structure of the TOEFL®ITP
As an excellent measure of English proficiency, ITP is offered in paper-based format. It consists of three sections that are separately timed. They are:
Listening (50 questions - 40 minutes)
Structure and Written Expression (40 questions - 25 minutes)
Reading Comprehension (50 questions - 55 minutes)

TOTAL 310-677
Score reports will be sent to the institution that administers ITP within two weeks after the test. However, each student can get only one copy and no additional score reports will be provided nor sent to colleges or universities in the U.S. or other countries.

IIE co-operates with several institutions and government agencies throughout Vietnam to administer ITP. In order to get more details about the schedule, you can contact IIE Hanoi or institutions offering the test which under the administration of IIE.

Tóm lại, lệ phí thi quá rẻ (550.000d), mức 400 điểm là rất thấp, mình đề nghị các bạn nên thi lấy cái này trước khi đăng ký nộp hồ sơ dự thi.
Đặc biệt, ĐH sư phạm còn có mở 2 lớp Toefl ITP 400 và 500 với mức học phí khỏang hơn 2tr dưới 3tr, trong 2-3 tháng là đảm bảo thi ngon ơ !
